Early and mid-20th century history will come alive at Three Stages this month.

Audiences will learn about the people and music of yester years in an entertaining and thought-provoking format.

For one very special matinee performance on October 14, Ensemble Galilei will bring their innovative and imaginative production of First Person: Seeing America. A selection of rare American photographs from New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art will be accompanied by readings from some of our nation’s most beloved authors (Hughes, Muir and more), performed by nationally recognized actors Bill Pullman and Lily Knight – all intermingled with energetic and moving music by Ensemble Galilei.

For three exceptional nights (October 15-17), This Is The ‘60s will offer more than 30 songs that’ll make you feel like you’ve traveled back in time! Live performances, film, dance, computer-generated imagery and more will come together for a fun revival of ‘60s pop culture. Seven talented performers will use high-concept stage design, vintage clothes, period newsreel footage and TV commercials to realistically recreate the memorable era. Hear classic rock ‘n’ roll at its finest with music from the Rolling Stones, Crosby Stills & Nash and nearly every popular musical group in between. Don’t miss this opportunity to stroll down a psychedelic memory lane!
