Picking out a new swimsuit (or two), jumping in the pool, swimming for hours on end…these are cherished memories many of us have of our childhood summers. Unfortunately, many children in our community aren’t able to afford a swimsuit, and the opportunity to learn how to swim is even less likely. Learning the important skills of swimming and water safety can be lifesaving. Operation Swim was created to help!

THE GOALS OF OPERATION SWIM:

1. Collect donations of new swimsuits and beach towels for children in need. Donations are currently being collected at Mike Shellito Indoor Pool. Check the web site for more locations.
2. Provide swimming lessons to at least 150 children in need through monetary donations. For every $40 collected, a child will receive a new swimsuit, beach towel and swimming lessons!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

All donations are accepted—you name the amount. To donate online, visit roseville.ca.us/swim or call 916-772-PLAY and say you would like to be a part of Operation Swim. Thank you in advance for being a part of creating cherished memories for kids in our community.
