The Scare4Hope Haunted Hills Asylum, an El Dorado Hills based haunted house located in the Town Center is having a familyfriendly carnival during the last two weekends the haunted house is open. There will be a variety of games, activities, and tasty treats. On the 24th, the event will also feature the Bay Area Ghostbusters, a group that dedicates their time attending nonprofit events in full costume. They even have a car that is decorated according to the Ecto1 from the movie.
The carnival will include games such as plinko, the witches hat ring toss, pin the Boo on the ghost, and many more. On the 30th, there will also be pumpkin painting, where kids can choose from festive colors and create any design they please on their mini pumpkin.
The carnival will run on three nights, October 23rd, 24th, and 30th, from 6:00 8:30pm. During that time all the activities will be open in the amphitheater out in front of the Haunted House, which is located next to the Hop House. Soda, candy, popcorn and snow cones, will also be sold in the area. Stop by and play some games, get scared in the haunted house, and have a snack while you’re there there's something for every member of the family!
For the brave souls, enter the Haunted Hills Asylum and meet the area’s most dangerous criminals, insane patients and, even worse, the mad doctors behind it all. It is open from 6 to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 5 to 8pm on Sundays. There is a “brave ones” tour for little ones or those not wanting the full scare.
The Haunted House is a youthled event by Scare4Hope, a merged organization of Hands4Hope and Scare Away Hunger. Hands4Hope is a nonprofit youth driven service learning and outreach organization based in El Dorado County whose mission is to empower youth to make a positive difference in the world around them through Exploration, Action, and Leadership.
