It’s to Die For! A 1920s Roseville Murder Mystery
October 15 / Carnegie Museum and Moose Lodge, Roseville
The Roseville Historical Society celebrated the grand reopening of the Carnegie Museum with 96 guests. Attendees started the evening at the museum, before proceeding to the Moose Lodge for a murder-mystery dinner—performed by actors from the Roseville Theatre Arts Academy with food from Randy Peters Catering.

Jessup Gala

“Light the World” was the theme of this year’s annual Jessup Gala, a record-breaking event that raised $214,695 for student scholarships. The gala welcomed over 350 guests and provided an in-depth look at some of the growing university’s students—past, present and future. The night featured musical guests, distinguished alumni, a silent auction, four-course dinner and a State of the University inspirational message from WJU President John Jackson.

Think Pink Granite Bay
October 30 / Granite Bay Golf Club
A sold-out crowd of 186 guests enjoyed lunch catered by Granite Bay Golf Club, a fashion show courtesy of Button Up Boutique, presentation by Sutter Medical Foundation, and auctions (both live and silent) at this third annual event. Proceeds raised ($24,266) will benefit Sutter Roseville Medical Foundation’s 3D mammography machine.

Sutter Cancer Center Grand Opening
October 18 / 8 Medical Plaza Drive, Roseville
More than 250 community members and Sutter staff joined in celebrating the grand opening of the 60,000-square-foot, three-story Sutter Cancer Center, which is the most comprehensive and advanced medical center dedicated to cancer patients in the Greater Sacramento area. While Sutter clinicians and staff were well represented at the grand opening, former and current patients were the stars of the evening.

Wellness Within Gala: Autumn Masquerade

This 21 and up fund-raiser for Wellness Within’s cancer support services was emceed by News10 Anchor Cristina Mendonsa and included live music and dancing with Harley White Jr. and the Moonlighters, food from area restaurants, wine, beer and auctions (live and silent).
