Thousands of festively dressed kids and adults ran through Vernon Street Town Square and jingled their way through a Christmas-infused course for cookies and swag at this inaugural 5K and half marathon. A portion of proceeds benefited Stand Up Placer, an organization committed to empowering survivors and educating communities to stand up to domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
