Uphill Vineyards: Amador County Winery & Tasting Room in Sutter Creek is an extremely-limited-production family winery that handcrafts distinctive wines from its own grapes grown in Fiddletown at an elevation of approximately 2400 feet, with our tasting room in Sutter Creek.
Our wines have garnered attention and awards from wine publications and competitions. Five
varieties of winegrapes are planted so far: Zinfandel, Primitivo,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, and Tannat. Our wines are made solely
from our own grapes, which limits our production to tiny case lots but
allows us to control the entire process and express the terroir of our
beautiful and peaceful site.
