Placerville Friends of Tibet (placervillefriendsoftibet.org) hosted a group of Buddhist monks from Gaden Shartse Norling Monastery at this two-week tour. Throughout their visit, the community gathered for mandala viewings; dharma talks; home, personal, pet, and healing blessings, including one at Mercy Hospital of Folsom; and a public discussion on environmental stewardship and healing the earth.
