Q: What makes wood-fired pizza so different/special? 

A: The unique style of cooking in a wood-fired oven creates the perfect pizza. Wood-fired pizza cooking is done at an extremely high temperature, which creates a distinctively crunchy outer crust while maintaining a soft inside you simply can’t get using other cooking methods. The type of wood used is also important; in our area, we’re blessed with an abundance of oak, which makes for a tasty, smoky flavor profile. The pizza also cooks extremely fast, which is a bonus!
