When it comes to cycling, the biggest trend I’m seeing are "his and her" traveling electric bikes in the lower $2,000 range; and the offerings by Denago, a newer company based out of Texas, are a top-selling brand. They come in at just over 60 pounds on the road, and when removing the battery for travel drop to just above 50 pounds. Aside from weight, the City 2 ($1,599) and Commute models ($1,799) can go up to 28 miles per hour and get a whopping 50 miles of range; while the City 3 ($1,799)—which features a rear torque sensor motor—accommodates an extended 62 miles of range and has an upgraded LED display. Ultimately, they allow riders to cover more ground in a timely manner and go on multiple rides per week without the worry or hassle of constantly recharging like they would with similar competitors.
