Services or products you offer: Mimis Playroom is an open-concept room filled with fun and educational things for children to explore—a place where families and caregivers can come together to let their little one’s imagination run wild in a safe, controlled setting. We also have a café to enjoy snacks or lunch and a (complimentary) coffee/tea bar for adults!

What you enjoy most about your profession: Creating community, watching families come together and support one another, and getting to watch little budding friendships. 

Fun fact about your company: Mimis Playroom was named after my younger sister who passed away in 2022. Every memory made here is made in her honor. All the laughter, happiness, and pure joy…I couldn't think of anything better. 

First job: A hostess at FireFish Grill on the Santa Cruz Wharf. 

Favorite local restaurant: Crave Nutrition EDH. You can never go wrong with a healthy protein shake or a natural energy boost; plus, my kids love their drinks and baked goods. It’s a win-win!

Favorite food: Spaghetti night! My children and I make dinner together while dancing, singing, and taking turns cooking. 

You love living here, because: It truly is a beautiful place. I moved here in 2016 to give my daughter a better life; the amount of people who smile, say "hi," and are kind confirms that we made the right decision!

Last big purchase: A construction project in the playroom; we took down three walls and created a much more open space.

Favorite small business: Gen and Moon Skincare + Wellness. Sydney and Makenna are both amazing women and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone deserves some self-care and there's nowhere else I would go!

When not working, you can be found: Going for long trail walks or out in nature with my children.
